In 2005, Town Council initiated a program to recognize individuals that have attained a high level of achievement in their field. As a community, we are proud of these accomplishments and the attention it has brought to Esterhazy.
The program’s purpose is to recognize individuals who have lived in and around Esterhazy and have received at least a NATIONAL LEVEL OF SIGNIFICANCE. A "sign panel” will be made and placed on a sign located at the west entrance to town.
A sign located at the west entrance to town will display four panels recognizing four individuals or groups. The panels will be rotated every three months. The successful groups or individuals will be selected by Town Council on an annual basis, based on submissions completed in accordance with the nomination form. The number of applicants chosen will be determined each year by Town Council.
The applicants can be from any field, but must have lived within Esterhazy and area.
The level of achievement must be at the National level and have brought the most attention to Esterhazy and area. The applicant’s award must have been received no later that 1903.
