Position Details:


Up to 40 hrs/week

Patient-Focused Care Responsibilities:

The Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Manager is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient-focused care, customer service, and workflow efficiencies.

Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)

Promotes the Neighbourly brand through publishing, presenting, and participation in the industry

associations to improve brand awareness.

Follow and promote the Neighbourly policy manual to inspire a working environment that attracts and retains talented, committed, and engaged employees

Initiate care plans, follow up, and document.

Administer vaccines.

Determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.

Monitor medication adherence.

Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information.

Recommend OTC products and vitamins.

Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.

Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.

Qualifications & Skills:


Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan

Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred), however, open to speaking with those interested in pursuing the next step in their Pharmacist journey to become a manager!

Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business

Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff

Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Self-directed and able to work independently.

Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
